Hi, I'm Josh. I live in Los Angeles, where I eat fish tacos and watch others surf. I like to ask questions and tell stories with interesting characters. I'm also big into disability rights: I work with actors with disabilities and believe in inclusive casting. I'm developing my second feature now (check out my first one here), and I've directed several short films. My latest short, Guest Room, played at SXSW this year in my hometown, the land of human longhorns and naked cowboys. I have a couple degrees from UT Austin and an MFA in film production from USC. When I'm not writing or directing, I'm probably producing. I produced a short film called Josephine and the Roach, which won a Student Academy Award and two Student Emmys in 2013. I like hamburgers, playing fugues on the steel drums, and doing homework at Disneyland.
