A cicatrice is a scar left after the healing of broken tissue. At Cicatrice, we believe the best stories are like scars, dramatizing the conflicts of the past and reminding us that we lived through them and grew stronger as a result.
Cicatrice creates visual stories that connect and sell. The work we've produced have won a Student Academy Award, a Student Emmy, grants from organizations like the San Francisco Film Society & Kenneth Rainin Foundation, and have screened at film festivals around the world, including SXSW.
We're currently seeking co-financing for COLLEGE GIRL, a feature film about a young woman with Down syndrome finding her place in the world after an unplanned pregnancy. CONTACT US for more information.
